OZOMONT-LC Tablets

Description

OZOMONT-LC is a fixed-dose combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, formulated for the effective management of allergic conditions and asthma-related symptoms. This dual-action therapy provides sustained relief by blocking histamine-mediated allergic responses and leukotriene-induced inflammation, thereby improving respiratory comfort and quality of life.

Composition

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride …… 5 mg
• Montelukast Sodium …… 10 mg
• Excipients …… q.s.

Dosage & Administration

• Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): One tablet once daily, preferably in the evening, or as directed by the physician.
• Children: Dose to be determined by the physician.

Tablets should be swallowed whole with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Indications

OZOMONT-LC is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of:

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis
• Perennial allergic rhinitis
• Bronchial asthma
• Asthma prophylaxis and prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction

Contra-Indications

• Known hypersensitivity to Levocetirizine, Montelukast, or any component of the formulation
• Severe renal impairment (without medical supervision)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment
• May cause drowsiness; caution advised while driving or operating machinery
• Not intended for the relief of acute asthma attacks
• Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed and prescribed by a physician

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Protect from light and moisture
• Store below 25°C
• Keep out of reach of children
